We are Cassia and Rafael.
We are not travel agents. We are travellers — the obsessive kind. We have sat at the tables, slept in the rooms, and walked the streets we recommend. We built Atelier Grosso because no one was planning trips the way we plan our own: slowly, personally, without a single recommendation that exists because someone paid us to make it.
The rest of the industry is busy automating. Feeding client preferences into algorithms, optimising for speed, scaling the personal out of personal travel. We want no part of it. While they optimise, we curate - by hand, relentlessly.
We cannot be bought. No commissions. No kick-backs. No preferred-supplier deals. Every recommendation we make exists for one reason only: we have been there, and we believe in it.
We take very few clients and we intend to keep it that way. Every journey begins with a conversation and most of the work happens before the first flight is booked.

You tell us where you want to go — or you tell us nothing, and we figure it out. We have walked the halls, eaten the meals, met the people. When we recommend a place, it is because we have been there ourselves — not because an algorithm surfaced it or a hotel paid to be listed. That difference shows in the details only someone present would know. Every hotel, every guide, every table is chosen for a reason. We'll tell you the reason.
No commission. No conflict.
Most travel advisors earn their income from the hotels and operators they recommend. We don't. Our fee is paid by you, a transparent service fee on the total value of the trip. This is a deliberate choice. It means we have no financial reason to steer you toward one property over another. What we recommend is what we believe in. Nothing else. Good travel planning, the kind built on years of firsthand relationships, not a search engine, takes time, presence, and access that cannot be automated. Our fee reflects that work.
